Your cup / Wired to Order

Wired to order.
Find your drink.

Six dials to your coffee, five to your blend, and the wheel swaps them when you switch. Go deeper and invent your own. Set what you feel and the needle finds it, no wrong answers.

The dials read current (energy), roast (smooth to dark & bitter), body (milk), sweet, and temp, and kind (coffee bar or the blender). Hit Go deeper to add flavor and combine our ingredients into your own drink.

Tap the dials. We read your cup live.
02 / Made here

Build your drink.

This is a makerspace. Naturally, you build your own. Set the base and dial the strength; the strength reads in the right unit for each drink.

Current means strength and body, not just caffeine.

Why a coffee bar in a makerspace? Wired keeps the building open longer: four extra open hours three days a week, plus an extra hour on Friday and Saturday, with no added staff. As the shop grows, so do the hours.

04 / Our story

A coffee shop that funds a mission.

Wired Coffee Co. is the cafe inside the Cortez Makerspace, one of three programs run by Fundamental Needs, a 501(c)(3) public charity. Sit down with a latte and you are steps from a laser lab, an off-grid solar-water workshop, and a room of students building their futures.

We give 10% of profits to the Fundamental Needs programs next door, and the shop itself helps keep the makerspace running.

Students who pitch, then run it

The I.D.E.A. Lab at Southwest Open School lets students earn credit while launching real ventures, with pitch competitions at Kirtland Central too. Some of the students who pitched here now run this counter.
